Seven screens. Three apps. One shouting floor.

A QR menu that doesn't talk to the POS. A POS that doesn't talk to the kitchen. A delivery app running its own clock. A reservation book nobody checks. On a Friday at 8pm, this is what "digital" looks like in most restaurants.

Chapter One · The Manifesto

Why we built a system, not a menu.

— a letter from the kitchen pass
Crafted
in India
2026

For years, restaurants have been sold tools in pieces. A QR menu here. A POS there. A reservations app in the corner, a delivery integration out the back. Each one promises to solve a problem — and each one quietly creates three more.

A QR menu without a kitchen is a wish. A POS without a table plan is a calculator. An ordering app without staff coordination is a ghost. And the restaurant, in the middle of a Friday service, is left switching between seven screens while guests wait.

"We didn't want to sell restaurants more software. We wanted to sell them back their flow."

OrderDash is different. We built what we call a Smart Dining Ecosystem — one continuous thread that runs from the moment a guest sits down, to the moment they leave, and every quiet operation in between. Every action connected. Every person informed. Every screen aware of what's happening elsewhere.

No more calling across the room. No more "did you get that order?" No more bills printed, re-printed, then split four ways by a server with a calculator. Just one system, working with your team at the pace of a real service — because it was designed by people who've worked one.

Chapter Nine · From the Pass

The questions every owner asks.

01
Will my staff actually use it?
+
Yes. The whole point was to remove screens, not add them. Runners get a wrist ping. Kitchen gets a clean KDS. Cashiers get a bill that's already correct. Teams learn it in a single shift — because it speaks the language of a real service, not a software manual.
02
What happens when the internet drops?
+
Here's the honest truth: OrderDash needs internet. Not fast — not fibre-grade — just usable. A basic 4G connection or a modest wifi plan is plenty. Your guests scan a QR and order on their phones; the kitchen needs to receive that order. Without a connection, that thread breaks. The good news: a basic data connection is cheap, ubiquitous across India, and most restaurants already have one. If yours is patchy, we'll help you set up a reliable backup before you go live. Think of it like electricity — you wouldn't open a restaurant without it. Internet is the new electricity.
03
Can it work with my existing hardware?
+
Almost certainly. OrderDash runs on any phone (guests and staff), any tablet (KDS and floor), and any modern browser. No proprietary terminals. No forced hardware refresh. If you have a printer that speaks ESC/POS, we'll talk to it.
04
How long does onboarding take?
+
48 hours for a single venue. We import your menu, train your staff on-site during a real service, and stay on call through your first weekend. For multi-outlet groups, we phase it: one venue live in week one, the rest follow at your pace.
05
Is my data mine?
+
Always. Your menu, your orders, your guests, your reports — exportable anytime, in standard formats. We're the system that runs your service. We're not the landlord of your data. No lock-in clauses. Cancel anytime, take everything with you.
